Thanks for checking in guys. I feel the need to unload a bit, so I'll just mention that I'm having surgery soon on my wrist for a torn ligament that has been bugging me for a couple of years. The long recovery means I'll be sitting on my butt getting paid medical leave, but my boss isn't holding my job for me. He's keeping me on payroll to get the paid leave, but I'll be done with full time there. Fortunately, I'm confident in getting work somewhere else, I've already had several offers, so that shouldn't be a problem, but it's still a bit of a bummer. The bigger thing is my wife recently decided that she wants kids, but I haven't changed my mind, so we're splitting. There's no fighting or animosity, but it's very sad none the less. In a few months, I'll be single, unemployed, and looking for a new place to live. It's a lot at once, but I'm staying positive about the changes. In the meantime, there's plenty of scenes for me to catch up on and keep me occupied as I start a new chapter in my life.
